Opportunity for Automakers

The ongoing global financial meltdown has hit the international automotive industry and there are also indications that prices of locally-manufactured automobiles have decreased. Some people believe that the ongoing situation provides an opportunity for local automakers to boost their qualitative might and create financial incentives among their potential customers and hence upgrade the local industry.

Mesin GEA Sudah Diproduksi

Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) yang menjadi penyuplai mesin bagi mobil nasional Indonesia yakni GEA sudah memproduksi mesin mobil mungil. Namun jumlahnya masih terbatas.

Hal tersebut diungkapkan oleh Koordinator RUSNAS Engine (Riset Unggulan
Strategis Nasional) dari BPPT Dr. Nyoman Jujur kepada detikOto, Jumat (27/3/2009).
