Redesigned 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Scooped Again
For the second time this month, the facelifted 2010MY versions of the Land Cruiser V8's more compact 3-door and 5-door siblings which are known in many markets as the Land Cruiser Prado (not sold in the States) have been photographed undisguised. These latest pictures, which made it into an Arabic site, confirm that the 2010 Land Cruiser Prado gets a redesigned front fascia inspired by Toyota's latest European models like the Avensis along with more heavily profiled wheel arches and new tail lamps.
Not much else in known about the 2010 Land Cruiser but we suspect that Toyota may also have refreshed the luxury off-roader's interior. In most markets, the current generation Land Cruiser Prado is available with a choice of two powertrains, a 4.0-liter V6 petrol engine producing 249 horsepower and a 3.0-liter four-banger turbo diesel that cranks out 173 horsepower.
More Porsche Cayenne Diesel Tuning Love by Cargraphic
Following in the footsteps of Techart, Germany's Cargraphic is the latest company to tune into the new diesel-powered Porsche Cayenne model by releasing a batch of performance and cosmetic enhancements. For a price of €1,184 or about $1,650 US, the tuner will upgrade the 3.0-liter V6 diesel's electronic control unit lifting output from 240HP and 550Nm to a hefty 290HP and 630Nm or 465 lb-ft. Coincidently (or not...), those are the same output figures achieved by Techart's engine kit.
Throw in another €1,422 and Cargraphic will happily equip your Cayenne Diesel with a suspension control module that reduces the vehicle's ride height.
The tuner also offers an appearance package consisting of a front apron with twin fog-lights (€2,136), a rear diffuser (€470), fender extensions (€1,232) and side skirts (€1,006) plus 20- to 22-inch alloy wheels..

2011 Hyundai Sonata Caught Testing in Dubai
2011 Hyundai Sonata Caught Testing in DubaiThe crew over at the Arabic website Assayyarat dropped these photos of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata in our mail this morning. The prototype model that was captured in Dubai had its front- and rear-end covered in plastic wrapping but we do get a general idea of what the mid-size sedan will look like when it hits showrooms in early 2010. And judging by the raked roofline and the 'stubby' boot design (first-gen Audi A6 ring a bell?), Hyundai is going for a more than welcome 'four-door' coupe look.
The photographer also managed to snap a few pictures of the Sonata's interior that is completely new featuring a swoopy dashboard design with very Volvo-like controls on the center stack and a pair of deeply set gauges which seem to be the industry standard these days.
The Korean automaker's Honda Accord and Toyota Camry fighter is expected to be powered by four-cylinder and V6 gasoline engines while Europeans will also be offered the choice of four-banger turbo diesels including a new 2.0-liter four-pot with 185 horsepower.
