Kish Khodro, another Iran's automaker

Kish Khodro is a car company based in kish, Iran. Established in 1998, 40% of the company is owned by the Iranian state bank. Their original model was the plastic-bodies Sinad I hatchback, which was built by Shahrooz Kordrostami. This was followed by the differently styled Sinad II and the coupe version, the Sinad III. In 2003 they launched the Ason wagon, and in 2004 they launched the Veek MPV, which is based on the first generation Renault Scenic. The powertrain for their line-up is sourced from Renault.

Bookings for world's cheapest car Nano begin today

The much-awaited bookings for the world's cheapest car Nano which worth 2,000 U.S. dollars starts Thursday across India for a limited period of 17 days, local media reported.

Tata Motors states to accept application forms of 300 rupees (6 U.S. dollars) each for the 624-cc jelly-bean shaped Nano and a booking amount ranges between 2,850 rupees (57 U.S. dollars) and 4,110 rupees (82.2 U.S. dollars) among different banks.

Pemerintah Australia sudah memberikan lampu hijau penggunaan mobil listrik di negara Kangguru itu. Bahkan Perdana Menteri (PM) Inggris Gordon Brown siap memberikan subsidi bagi setiap pembelian satu unit mobil listrik senilai 2.000 poundsterling atau sekitar Rp 36 juta, woow!

Fahmi Idris: Arina Bisa Jadi Mobnas

Menperin Fahmi Idris batal mencoba mobil asli Semarang, Arina. Namun meski begitu tak menyurutkan keyakinannya kalau mobil ini bakal jadi mobil nasional.

Saat pertemuan di Semarang, Fahmi hanya mengecek isi mobil Arina Menperin Fahmi Idris berharap mobil kecil buatan Universitas Negeri Semarang, Arina, bisa menjadi mobil nasional.

"Ya, saya berharap kita punya mobil nasional. Ini saya kira bisa," kata Fahmi saat melihat mobil Arina di Hotel Patrajasa, Jalan Sisingamangaraja Semarang, Jumat (3/4/2009).

Entah mengapa Fahmi batal mengendarai Arina, apa itu karena kesibukannya yang padat di sela-sela meninjau industri di Semarang.
