2011 Ford Focus RS500 First DriveZeal to pursue the coveted goal doesn’t faint, no matter how long it takes to achieve it. Owen Warboys – a man from Hordle, Hampshire proved it when launched his DIY boat that took over three decades building it in his mum’s garden. Christened as Wight Dolphin, the work on this 40ft long sloop weighing over 18 tonne yacht started in 1982 and after completion it was lifted 40ft in the air with a huge crane over his late mother’s detached house onto a lorry to transport it to a marina.
Wight Dolphin was built by Owen from the scratch with sheets of steel and pieces of wood and the construction was marked with hours and hours of welding and grinding. It took Owen a decade to build the hull alone. However, finally the hard work and patience paid and the boat floated when it was tested and didn’t show any signs of leakage. Thirty years are too long a time to hunt only one goal and one would have lost the patience in the middle. But kudos to Owen’s perseverance!

Wheelsandmore, Germany based tuner, has come up with an impressive tuning package for the Bentley Continental Supersports. With Wheelsandmor’s ecu upgrade, combined with a handmade, stainless steel exhaust system, special sportcatalysts, and within a remote controlled valve flap system, Supersports’ power has been increased from 630hp to 702hp and now the car produces 650 lb-ft of torque. After the upgrades, the car has a top speed of 209 mph and also features 16.54 inches carbon-ceramic brakes, surrounded by new three-piece 10.5×21″ light wheels. Also, there is Wheelsandmore’s LowMaXX electric lowering module to adjust suspension system up to 20mm even when traveling at 40mph and its wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx Tyres for better control at high speeds.

Hailed as Smitty’s percolating coffee psycho, riding this scooter is all about coffee and one never need to look for a coffee shop as the bike is brewing coffee any moment of time you wish.

Well, this vehicle may look unshapely to many eyes, and undoubtedly it is, however, it’s the most environment friendly car Britain has ever built. Dubbed Womble Truck, this vehicle is simply amazing for it incorporates parts from 21 different cars and can touch the 110mph mark on chip fat and vegetable oil.
Created by the sculptor and environmentalist Buzz Knapp-Fisher, it took over six years to transform the wracked truck into a carbon free transport vehicle. The zero emission car has parts from Morris 1000, Seventies Mini, a Ford, a Reliant Robin, an MG Midget, a Vauxhall Viva and a Volvo 740.
Buzz’s Womble Truck’s creation marks the conversion from a petrol engine to biodiesel one, then he switched to chip fat and vegetable oil. Whereas on the high temperature, Womble starts and runs entirely on chip fat, but on the low temperature it starts on biodiesel before switching over to chip fat.
With inspiration for the name coming from the Children’s TV characters ‘The Wombles’, this eco-friendly vehicle depicts the trend of using electric or biodiesel cars in order to save the environment for the generations to come.
This is a great innovation for preserving the environment and there is no stopping here for Buzz. He’s already bought batteries for his electric car with the money saved from Womble Truck and also aims to pursue more energy projects in the future.
