Just thought I would refresh everyone's memory with these pictures of the Chinese version of the Opel Insignia, the Buick Regal.
Now that Buick US is officially calling it the Regal Concept in the US.
It does look like we will get this car over here.

That's just what these new Buick print ads are mentioning. They should the whole new Buick line up, including the new gorgeous Lacrosse.
But also what they call the "Regal Concept".
We all now the new Regal is a version of the Opel Insignia sold in China.

No matter what, it's good to know that the Insignia will end up over here.
There have been many rumors about the Regal/Insignia ending up over here as an entry level Buick model.
Now this is almost sure....

Next BMW 1 series???

This illustration shows how the next small 1 series could look like.
And it does seem pretty realistic. And boring.
The 1 series hatch came out in Europe in 2004. So a new one is due out pretty soon.
We only get the "way overpriced" coupe and convertible versions in the US. With the same engines offered in the 3 series.
A weird and stupid move from BMW.
Remember when, a few years ago, they were supposed to be working on a sedan version? Mainly for the US market.
Where is it???

The next 1 is still supposed to be available as a sedan. (Toe better compete with the next Audi A3, also offered as a sedan).
So we might be getting it on top of the coupe and convertible. And smaller engines will also be offered, finally.
Making it a true "Compact BMW".

And maybe it'll be almost affordable...

R.I.P : Pontiac Vibe

The Vibe is dead after all.
It was scheduled to be the only Pontiac available to the public for 2010, but it will stop being produced this August.
That means no 2010 model at all. No 2010 Pontiac of any kind available for sale at all.

The G6 will still be produced unto the next year for fleet sales only.
