Scoop: Alfa Romeo 159 GTA ?

Could Alfa Romeo be preparing a successor to the 156 GTA? Mmm, tough one. According to our official and unofficial (off the record) information, Alfa isn’t planning to present a GTA version of the 159 -well, not at least before 2010. But then, what’s the case with these “scoop” photos from Italian website Infomotori? If you’re asking us, we’re not seeing anything more than stock 159 with side air-vents, slightly differentiated front bumper and “Toys R’ Us” type boot spoiler. However, according to Infomotori these spy shots preview the upcoming 159 GTA that will combine a 4WD system with a Ferrari/Maserati derived 400Hp V8 engine.
