 Hyundai Veloster is a coupe model launched at the Detroit Auto Show. Veloster is available with five doors and three-door coupe. Sales of this model began in summer 2011. 2012 Hyundai Veloster is based on FF layout with the engine mounted on the front and belongs to the category subcompact. According to Hyundai officials Veloster will be priced around $ 17, 000 to $ 18, 000.

 2012 Hyundai Veloster will be built with capacity of 1.6 L four-engine cylindered and this engine is capable of generating 138 horsepower at 6300 rpm and 123 lb-ft of torque at 4850 RPM. Drive train this model includes D-CVVT (Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing) and will be mated with 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) with paddle shifters. With all these advanced features, this model can put mileage around 40 MPG.
